The meal was beyond what I expected. We were served warm buttered bread when we sat down. It was flaky and delicious. I had the Papas Rellenas from the tapas portion of the menu. I also ordered a side of the mariquitas and a capuchino. The papas were fresh and the mariquitas (fried plantains) were crispy and lightly salted. I dipped them in the aoili that accompanied my Papas and was dancing a happy dance to the lively Cuban music piped thru the restaurant. My fiance ordered the El American breakfast: eggs, bacon/ham, toast, hash browns. All that food came up to a total of $20.54. The service was delightful. I will definitely come again.
