I had lasik eye surgery in the middle of March. I am not happy with the results. I now have floaters in my right eye and a smokie spot in that same eye. I am 56 years old and was told that the floaters are part of the aging process, but I did not have them before the procedure. I have blurred vision when looking further than approx. 12 feet. Traffic lights are blurred and doubled. It is very difficult to read street signs until I am almost at the corner where they are posted. I think I saw better with my glasses. I knew I would eventually have to wear glasses for reading.(off the shelf from the dollar store) That's fine, but I was told that my distance would be fixed. Not the case!! My advice is to do your research(which I thought I did) and don't fool with your eyes if you are not 100% convinced it's the best choice.
