| - my hellish experience: I intended to write this review many years ago, but overtime i thought about it, i shuttered inside because of my experience and couldn't go through with reliving the entire time i spent under his care through this review.. but here we go..Like many reviews before me mentioned, they try to sell you services you do not need. I'm disheartened to say, dr steen left me with 6 root canals that i had no choice in because i was told mid way through them grinding down my teeth to crowns which, they tell me my teeth started to bleed so they needed to do 6 root canals. looking back on this procedure, they should have been able to keep my teeth alive. i wasn't sold, i was forced. next, as i was going through 2 dental implants, my head was in a very uncomfortable position and a mouth stretcher inplace. dr steen said he would be right back.. about an hour later he came to check up on me.thanks for that dr steen and mean asian doctor from LA..also to make my implant surgery more comfortable, they provided me with oxygen, oh wait, that tank was dead and nothing had been flowing for 2 hours.. oh and the valium they gave me the night before to get good rest before the implant day is ridiculous because then i came in at 7 to take an AMBIAN SLEEP AID.. i clearly remember everything because i was fully rested and no, a 10mg SLEEP aid IS NOT ANYWHERE near enough to wipe me out.. nor is it good enough to help me not remember u saying "you won't even remember this conversation" yeah i remember the drilling and u telling me i had to get 6 emergency root canals to stop my teeth from bleeding! yikes.. the doctor that flew in from LA to assist with the dental surgery is the meanest man ever.. he did not want to reinject my novacane shots when i asked even though i was crying from pain. they lied to me when they told me my implants would be quartz and not gold, i asked to use the restroom and saw they were gold i became upset because of the color difference at the root which is why wanted quartz. their excuse was "they wouldn't fit." so they knew this ahead of time but didn't plan on telling me.. i wouldn't have known if i didn't ask to use the restroom and looked.. oh i got a pic too.. careful (its gross).. moving on.. lets talk end result.. wow. nnoooooope.. sorry dr steen. you do not have an eye for this.. not only do u rush through your work, you also don't understand that when u drilled over my crowns one side became concave and the other was convex because you are sitting on one side and drilling harder, so there is basically a wave and it very apparent in some pics. a basic nail tech does cleaner work on smoothing out acrylic.. YOU ALSO took my impressions for my night guard BEFORE you did your finishing work so it does not fit.. you left me with one front tooth longer than the other.. I'm glad all my work is over.. it was a miserable process in general but dr steen didn't do much to make it any better.. i was 21 at the time and now I'm 26. I'm still as mad as the last time i walked out of that office.. I wanted to post this review tho bc i don't want anyone else being lied to, made this uncomfortable going through SURGERY and just overall displeased with the end result.
i would never recommend them.
I dont smile fully because then you can see the unevenness of the front teeth.. oh and i have no night guard because you used my impressions from before you used the drill the last time..
thanks for lying to me about the type of implant you used.. not cool.
