During my past visit to Montreal this was a close spot to where I was staying. Seems to be a relatively young hangout which is expected due to the nearby university. Came in for dinner on Tuesday evening and we seemed to be one of the only people ordering food, everyone else was just having a drink. The place was packed for a weeknight, and there were only 3 people working bar and tables so it was a bit of a wait on the ordering and waiting for the check. I commend the staff though, they were very friendly during all our interactions. Our server offered his recommendations as well as beer samples for everyone in the party. We ordered the chicken schnitzel burger, Sisig, and salmon dumplings. I was very surprised to find a Filipino dish on the menu. The salmon dumplings are a good choice if you want to stay healthy but also splurge a little on dish choice. The sisig wasn't prepared as I expected, but it's still worth the try (comes with a side of udon noodles, and I never say no to noodles). Overall my favorite was the chicken schnitzel burger and fries. This place would be a great spot for brunch. Its in a nice neighborhood with a patio/outdoor seating.
