| - Monsieur Cremeux, owned by Chef Martin Juneau and his business partner Louis-Philippe Breton, opened up a brick-and-mortar frozen treat place off of Beaubien. REAL TALK: I was super excited to check this place out, and it was one of my priorities because I fell in love with their logo (a dripping ice cream cone with a face and a black mustache (!!!)). The menu is pretty simple, offering soft serves, sorbettos, ice cream, as well as ice cream sandwiches (they only have the flavor 'pistachio,' and you can't swap out the flavor as it's already pre-made). The hubs and I came here a little later in the afternoon, and we tried the following: a lemon sorbetto (super tangy and sour, those who like a citrus overload will enjoy this; this also contains some lemon rind), and a chocolate and vanilla twist soft serve in a cone (this was unbelievably delicious! The soft serve was creamy, fluffy, not too dense, and the flavors of the chocolate and the vanilla shined respectively; I also loved their cone! I usually ignore cones and get my ice cream in a cub, but Monsieur Cremeux's cones are super delicious - crispy, not too sweet, and the perfect complement to the soft serve - yum!). Service was friendly, and there is one pink picnic table in the middle of this tiny frozen treat shop, as well as a couple of stools off to the side. I dug their white-painted milk jugs as lighting fixture decoration pieces. Just make sure that you check their hours due to the fluctuating weather. I highly recommend :D
