I purchased my car 6 months ago and I have had to go 3 times to the service center. Twice for tires (both had holes happen in the side wall and had to be replaced. the sorento is driven under 4 miles to work in light traffic) and once for engine noise and an oil change. I had a good experience with Jim the service Manager and came back when I had the second tire issue. Scott was the manager at this time. He was also helpful, but argumentative. My car had been having engine noise for a few months intermittently so I waited to bring it in but needed an oil change. Today I had an appointment scheduled at 9am. When I made the appointment I asked how long it would take and I was told less than two hours. I left at 11:48am. Almost 3 hours for an oil change and to get my engine noise check. At 10:30 Paula had checked in with me to let me know that I had some ac line leaking. I asked how long this would take to repair she said an additional hour and a half. I said I had prior commitments and wouldn't be able to fix today. At 11:30 I asked a sales person whom I could complain to. He found Scott. I advised him of the issues of the time I'd been at Kia and he said that it takes time to get the checks done. Then he said that Paula had authorized the ac line to be fixed. I told him I had told her not today. He said that's why it had taken an additional hour since she had checked in with me. I told him of my frustration and he said it was under my warranty and would cost 100. Paula then came to where we were and said my car was done. I went to sign and get out of there and on the repair order there was no ac fixed. Shop has communication issues and I will never take my vehicle back or purchase another car from here.
