  • We've been here at Verano for a little over a month now and I waited to write this to make sure I was properly exposed to what this place has to offer. I will say, I read plenty of very negative reviews and was hesitant about this place. We actually committed to Verano sight unseen(we are from San Diego). We had visited other apartments about 3 months earlier and we really liked the area. The townhome was a great deal compared to the 2 br apts. nearby so we decided to give it a shot. The proximity to shopping is fantastic (nearly every shop you could want) The freeway is just a few blocks away. They have a really nice pool area, fire pit, and hot tub. There are a couple nice new(ish) grills in the pool area. They have a 24 hour Gym that is kept clean. All our neighbors are friendly. A few things they could do better: responding to requests a little more quickly.(I somewhat understand because they do have a LOT of units.)our apartment was not cleaned very thoroughly upon move in. Kids seem to often be doing things without supervision like hanging out in the gym(not using the equipment) or throwing rocks into the pool and spa. We were also told they had dual pane windows which they do not. It is somewhat loud from road noise, and I'm sure our cooling bill will suffer this summer because of this. Overall I'm happy with the place.
