| - First time checking in with the Yelp App but have been at this place for god knows how many times.
Scoring it a perfect five because aside from the great food and the attentive lady owner, this place is a working man's diner. Yes, after a hard day at work, you can come to this place and just eat and go.
This is probably the only specialty tonkatsu place in Vegas. Yes, it is the best tonkatsu in town.
The tonkatsu is crispy on the first bite but juicy and soft on the second. It is well seasoned and I noticed there is a thin layer of fat in it. I've said it before, fat adds flavor. Love it.
I always order the Katsu Donburi (Katsudon). If you like rice, egg, and pork, then you would do well to order the Donburi.
For appetizers, I circulate between the Karaage, Takoyaki, and Arabiki sausage. All equally good. It's a mood thing that decides which one I order that day.
The place is intimate but simple. Not noisy, a little Hawaiian music playing on the background. Price is decent. Food is great. Service is excellent. 5/5 will repeat.
