  • Another historical Civil War era mansion saved from the wrecking ball is now a fabulous 16-bedroom suite inn, and party hub with dinners and happy hours. Owner Carol has so much passion for her family's "project" that it made us want to hear more. Our group of 18 went on a tour. It started with the history, the renovation and seeing rooms and hearing their stories. This 22,000 sq. ft. mansion comes complete with walnut woodwork, antiques, an elevator for everyone, and tales of surprise. It is comparable to any grand residence.
