  • I visited this awesome shop this past Mother's Day weekend. It was a super nice surprise that the shop was only like 2 blocks from our hotel. First going into any hat shop, especially a NEW ERA is like stepping into a little piece of heaven for me. The staff in the Toronto store was super nice and really helpful. I had been to a couple other NEW ERA flagship stores in the past and the employees were not nearly as intensive. I love not only the service but the shop in Toronto has a hat steamer that helps shape hats and while I was there I literally saw another gentleman bring in a knapsack full of hats to be steamed and cleaned, I thought that was super incredible. I really loved this shop and am sorry but not surprised to hear that this location will be closing. I'm sure the rent on that section of Queen St. Is quite high. I don't get to Toronto that much but I sure hope that NEW ERA will be able to find another location in that beautiful city.
