  • I moved to Phoenix from Michigan in January and was sad to leave my beloved Kroger stores behind. I was pleasantly surprised when I learned Fry's stores are a member of the Kroger family, and nearly identical to the store I was used to back in Michigan. Even better is this store has the friendliest grocery staff I've ever encountered. I don't think I've ever walked through their aisles without a number of their employees happily asking if they can help me with anything, including one of the managers who has helped me out twice now. Wish I had caught his name to give him praise here! There's also an employee in the produce section that's always around to answer questions about their fresh stock. So happy to have this Fry's close by.
