I came to the store to buy a replacement battery for my Macbook Pro which they said they had in stock, however they refused to sell it to me on the basis of an internal company policy. I explained that I have the technical skills to replace the battery myself, and I expressed my concern with spending nearly double what it would cost me for them to do the installation, as compared to if they sold me the part and I were to just replace the part on my own.
The employee I spoke to was combative and unwilling to compromise at all. He basically told me to leave the store within less than a minute of speaking to him.
I have never been treated this poorly at an Apple store before I came to the Markville mall Apple store.
