  • This is my first time at a rolled ice cream place and I think they produce a quality product. However, I think the place is a bit sparsely decorated and the music was way too loud for the space. Maybe I'm too old, but not being able to talk to my wife and son who were sitting at the same table was a bit annoying. The rolled ice cream has an interesting flaky texture that becomes creamy as it melts. It seems to melt MUCH more slowly than churned ice creams, which can be a good thing if you enjoy your ice cream slowly. I had the Bangkok Romance, which is Thai tea ice cream with blackberries and condensed milk drizzle, served with a pair of wafer tubes. I opted out of the whipped cream. It was pretty, had a good flavor, and the berries were fresh. There is only one size, which I think is equivalent to around a scoop and a half at a regular place. The price is a bit more than I'd usually spend for ice cream -- about $6.50 at the time of this review. No doubt there is some skill involved with the process, which helps justify the cost, but I recommend sharing. The people working there were friendly and helpful. My kids enjoyed the novelty, but didn't really like the limited flavor and topping options. It is worth a try, but not somewhere we plan to frequent.
