rev:text	Our pitbull gave us a scare when he ate an entire pack of sugar free gum which is extremely toxic to dogs. He collapsed on the kitchen floor due to a very low blood sugar caused by ingesting the gum. I was referred to this location by a vet that I called who was closing soon. When I called (crying hysterically) to let them know we were coming in and to see if I could do anything for my dog on the way there, the technician was very calm and explained that the best thing was to get him there asap. When we got him there, my boyfriend had to carry him in because he was so weak. One of the assistants quickly carried him back to a room where they gave him immediate attention. We were kept up to date about everything they were doing and they were so kind. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything to us. He spoke with us twice while we were there. We were very sad to leave our baby there for what was supposed to be 2-4 days but we're comforted by the welcoming and warm staff. I also really appreciated that they were cautious with him but were not fearful. They understood that he can sometimes sound scary at the vet and used their best judgement when handling him. They called us when we got home to update us and to ask our permission to sedate him in order to run some of the tests. They also called first thing in the morning to update us on his progress and to let us know that he may be able to come home early. When I stopped in for a visit, the staff quickly brought him to me and allowed me to take him for a walk. They also updated me on his progress and behavior. They were so kind and professional through the entire experience.
