There's a 24 hour gym and the patios have 5 ft walls so are more private than your typical apartment. That is all that is good about this place. It is the worst apartment complex I've ever lived at.
The management staff is rude about my special needs son and while they haven't said anything illegal, they do not make him feel welcome. 2/4 of the maintenance staff are complete assholes. One of the maintenance staff zips around on his golf cart going well over the speed limit and almost ran into my child once, then told me it was my fault for not watching him. No, douchecanoe, you need to obey your own fucken speed limit and watch out for children. This isn't a retirement community so, guess what? there's gonna be children present! If something in your apartment needs fixing, don't expect them to fix it right away, expect them to take the absolute longest legal allowable time to get to you, then of course they're hella unprofessional and act like you're inconveniencing them...for doing their JOBS!
My upstairs neighbors were involved in a domestic violence relationship CONSTANTLY screaming and throwing things. There was once a broken vase of flowers that had clearly been thrown from their apartment and landed in my patio. My child almost stepped in it. I alerted the management staff and they didn't give two shits. Told me that if no one was hurt they couldn't do anything.
Recently, a van crashed through my bedroom and left a large hole. The management told me they "were going to work around the clock to fix it" and gave me the key to an empty one bedroom apartment as compensation. What a family of 3 is supposed to do with an unfurnished 1 bedroom I have no clue. They then took over a week to do anything about the gaping hole in my wall that anyone or anything could have gotten into. They did not offer to compensate for the time that I had paid for a 2 bedroom with 4 walls and was instead stuck with a 1 bedroom and 3.75 walls.
Since I stood up for myself and made a stink about how they handled the situation they are now not allowing me to renew my lease. Not that I would want to, but apparently paying your rent on time every.single.month. for 2 years is not the type of tenant they want if that tenant is willing to stand up for their rights.
Do yourself a favor and go tour the many other apartment complexes in the area.
Edit: Funny that the manager responded to this claiming they make everyone feel welcome...but your business has a 2.5 star rating ...so clearly I'm not the only person who's had a horrible experience
