  • I can't believe that I haven't reviewed this place before! I'm in love with the Morning Ride burger, and get this. Are you ready? You may want to sit down, this is big news. Especially coming from me.... Even the veggie burger looked good. I know. Seriously. Everything looks delicious here, and it is. I came in for lunch yesterday and sat at the bar, they weren't terribly busy so service was friendly and quick. They have a good beer selection, and the whole front row of taps is Charlotte beer heavy. I ordered the Morning Ride burger with tots - not your healthiest choice. But my friend ordered the Spin Class veggie burger, and it looked fantastic. I should have taken a picture. I was (almost) food jealous - over a VEGGIE BURGER. There's not even any meat in there! This is a big deal, people. Kickstand must be doing something right. The parking lot is a mess, the traffic and road work outside just makes it all worse. No one knows where to drive or what to do. Kickstand is in the same building as one of the La Unica locations. They share bathrooms in the middle by the basketball game - little bit confusing at first, but you'll figure it out. I'll definitely be coming back here when I'm in the Plaza neighborhood, but probably on off hours when the parking lot is less of a monster.
