  • Usually I'd give 4 stars for this place. My wife & Daughter LOVE this place. But the other day my Daughter fell and broke her arm. After we went and got her cast on we took her to Steak & Shake to make her feel better. What a disappointment. We stood and waited to be seated for almost 15 mins, then after we were seated the waitress took her sweet time coming to the table. We asked for a straw and were informed that they were currently out.. I guess it's too hard to run across the street and buy some. But who needs straws @ a Milkshake joint ? We had to ask for forks, napkins, and it took almost 15 mins for our drinks. I looked around and noticed that most other patrons seemed to be having the same experience. All this while the place was barely half full. The only reason I'm still giving 3 stars is because we usually have a good experience here. But we were very disappointed this time.
