  • This was the worst tasting sushi we have ever had. The fish was actually frozen with ice in it. Plus, we are pretty sure some of the fish was bad. This is a buffet, nothing like an AYCE sushi restaurant. I don't understand claiming the selection is great because AYCE's have like 30-50 rolls and at least 10 nigiri to pick from. The miso soup was crazy too. It came out of a vending machine like a beverage dispenser. It must have been turned down on the mix to water ratio because it had almost no flavor. We have been to the one on Flamingo years ago and didn't really like it then. We received a gift certificate from a friend and thought we would try it again because she seemed to like it and she is Japaneese. After about 15 minutes we just decided to go pay and not risk getting sick after trying bites of different items. It wouldn't have been a big loss since the gift certificate covered the majority. When paying, we told the front desk that we thought it was disgusting and they didn't seem to be surprised and actually didn't make us pay. They tried giving the gift card back and I had to decline LOL. If you care about the taste and quality of the food you eat, this is not for you. I did think the Shrimp tempura was OK. The tea was good however I was surprised they charged for drinks after assuming it was a buffet.
