rev:text	I really dislike leaving negative reviews especially when you get the service promised BUT sometimes you don't get what you expect and it's important to be honest. With that said, I purchased the IPL Photofacial and microdermabrasion on Groupon for $99. Setting up an appointment was easy. The lady who did the microdermabrasion and IPL and her assistant (she was training) were both very nice. They explained the procedure and what to expect. I had done an IPL a few years back when I lived in Michigan and had excellent results. There was minimal discomfort and at the end she had me look in the mirror at my "new" skin. It was a healthy pink color and she explained how the freckles would dissipate within 10 days (true). I asked her specifically about the freckles around the bridge of my nose and under the eyes as that's where they are most prominent. She replied well that can be addressed at a future visit. What? I would think that they would target the area where there were the greatest concentration of freckles and imperfections. Instead she seemed to focus on the the surrounding areas where my freckles are few and far between. I realized the Groupon was to get you in the door and then they hit you up to purchase future visits (starting at $199 a pop). Not cool. I declined and said I would call if I needed a future visit. Bottom line: I had good results with the IPL and microderm and it did improve my skin imperfections BUT they will limit how much they will do to get you to return. I won't be returning however.
