| - For a small family vacation, the four of us stayed at this hotel for two nights. It was easy to find and get to in addition to the hotel being located in a great and convenient downtown location with many local restaurants and bars (and plenty of bus stops, along with Amtrak being right across the street). It is $29 a day for valet parking, which was better than us finding street/garage parking in a city we did not know (it was our first time in Pittsburgh!). We utilized Uber to get to certain local destinations - they were always available and it was very inexpensive, so that helped.
The hotel has wonderful customer service. The front desk employees are kind and informative. They were helpful in finding us tasty local restaurants, even giving us a map of places and taking the time to direct us accordingly. The hotel was secure. You required your hotel key card to use to elevator and certain doors. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The cleaning service was great, as well.
When we were there, the hotel had a kick-back happy hour from 5:30-7:00. We got three tickets each - one drink was complimentary then the next two were 75 cents (plus tax) each. They had options of liquor, beer, wine, and other mixed drinks. There was also a nice spread of food, which was great to have as an appetizer, snack, or dinner.
Overall, I'd stay at this hotel again.
