  • Yes, it's a chain. When pubs can be hit or miss, Firkins are reliable and each a little different. There's always a special and almost always a $5 beer on tap. Service is good, the space is clean, and it's a good choice every time. This one's in the Gooderham Building, with the main seating area in the basement overlooking the sidewalk and a large patio area. It's excellent for people watching. When the patio is packed, there are always seats to be had inside. It's not always all tourists, but there are enough of them that it's more entertaining than the TV above the bar.
