I'm not really into Vegas shows so I didn't plan to see one on our recent visit to see family. My husband surprised me with a date night that included Bouchon dinner (yum) and RoA tickets. I love a good musical. This was a good musical. The cast is extremely talented. They all sing wonderfully and play instruments and dance and act. The show definitely has adult themes and jokes. Yeah- there's some toilet humor but it's a show about a club/bar in LA in the 80's. I feel like a little toilet humor is to be expected. It wasn't over the top, though. The music is fabulous. If you like 80's rock (who doesn't?) then this show is a must. Also the price is good. A lot of shows in LV can be quite pricey but RoA tix are $65 each and we got a free upgrade to a better section. We sat orchestra on left side of the theater. If you can get orchestra mid it's a little better because there is a screen w some video on it at back center stage that was a little hard to see, but it wasn't that big a deal. The show is two hrs long w a short 7 min intermission. They also give the audience little LED lighters to wave during the emotional songs. This show can't be beat!
