  • I took my dog in to be groomed on May 8, 2017. That called to tell me they found two fleas under her tail. They said she would have to be flea dipped or I would have to pick her up. They out right lied to me. I have had the dog for ten years and she has never had a flea on her. I explained we were leaving town and wanted her groomed. They charged me over $72. for the dip and the vile on the back of her head that she scratched at for the next two weeks. We live in the high desert and there gave never been fleas in the high desert. So I even researched it to no end and There Are No Fleas in Las Vegas to get on your dogs. The grooming department out right lied to me to get a bigger fee. And there honest manager stuck up for them. I have the wellness plan also for my dog. One year every time I took her in they found something else wrong with her. I felt I was taking her to a bad mechanic. They were for ever pushing special food on her that we could only buy with a prescription. She is healthy because I feed her organic dog food and do take her for her wellness check ups. I have learned to take the extra stuff they try to say she needs with a grain of salt. I guess when they don't sell enough of that high cost of special food they manage to find something wrong with your dog or cat so you make them money. Could that be the reason why vets don't stay at Pet-smart very long?
