  • My cat was killed last Tuesday. I had this cat for almost 10 years. Meaning I was in a very fragile, vulnerable place last week... I called Wednesday at 10am (when they opened), to ask about cremation and let them know I was coming in. I came in around 11, holding a clear container with a blanket/trash bag inside. I walked up to the desk, to be rudely directed by Jan, Jane, Jill; I couldn't read her name tag, but short brown hair in a pony tail, glasses, RBF BAD, to grab a # and sit down. I was asked by another client what was in my container. I explained about my cat and he told me I needed to be seen immediately and give back my #. I walk back up, to be told "what do you need?" by J-RBF. I explain the situation, (now that I'm actually able to, not just directed what to do) and she tells me to "wait right there". I walked one step to the right so I could be out of the center of the room, to be told rudely "I said wait there"..... I burst into tears at this point because there was a room full of people, who I didn't even want to know my business, and I'm being talked to and treated rudely, by someone who clearly doesn't even wanna be at their job.... Pam comes out, J-RBF defends herself by saying "I didn't know what was in there" (referring to my cat). Pam takes my information, explains "well she didn't know what was in there" (as if I didn't already her the poor excuse). I explain I'll be calling to speak with a manger when I'm calm. Since, I've called 3xs, my partner has called. There is NEVER a manager to speak with. I get a call 2 days ago to come grab my baby, all sweet and kind and nice on the VM. My partner has been there today for over an hour, sitting, waiting to pick up the ashes. She was told the same as me; to rudely have a seat with a #. Wasn't asked why she was there.... So she walks in with no animals, and is told to wait for....? I'm sorry. But this place is a hot mess. I've taken all my babies here. My mom the same. But I refuse to give my money to people who are literally only there for the money. No empathy or care or heart. When you work with animals, and people with tender hearts and upset minds, the last thing we need, is a rude, mean, Jane/Jan/Jill ruining our day. I will be contacting the manager. I won't allow shitty service to go unnoticed. But then again; if the manager is never there, what's that saying? I doubt this little yelp novel will be noticed or taken seriously, however I'm not gonna let it go because it's wrong. Flat out.
