I also had a horrible customer service experience at this Budget location. I booked my rental through my airline's frequent flier program. The rental was free with the voucher from the airline. The first problem was that the Budget Las Vegas staff could not figure out how to process my reservation with this voucher, even though I had used the exact same voucher at the Sacramento, California location with no problems at that location. It took 1 hour for the staff in Las Vegas to figure out how to process this voucher. But that wasn't the worst part.
The worst part was that the Las Vegas customer service rep told me when I rented the car that the Loss Damage Waiver was included free as part of rate with the voucher that I was using (and this had also been the case when I had previously used the voucher at Budget in Sacramento). So when I returned the car, I was surprised to see that I was being charged $215 for the LDW, when it was supposed to have been included free. Since then I have returned to my residence in Argentina, I have called Budget Las Vegas six times in the past three weeks, leaving 3 unanswered messages, spoken to three different customer service reps (one of whom was extremely rude), and to one manager who have all claimed that they will review the audio recording of the rental in order to rectify the situation. The manager even gave me her word that she would follow up on my situation personally and via email so that I wouldn't have to keep calling from overseas. Yeah, that was two weeks ago.
My family lives in Vegas and I visit annually. I have learned my lesson: avoid Budget Las Vegas like the plague.
