  • I would stay here again for a couple of nights. It's 100% Smoke Free! And that is BIG when you are in Vegas. I can't think of another hotel that has so many services within walking distance: Walmart. Lowes, Denny's, IHOP, Cleaners, Casino Hotel, Chevron Gasoline, and a ton more within a few blocks drive. Parking was easy all hours of the day. Area around seemed safe to me. The room was overall comfortable, but the bed not so much--it was OK for a couple of nights It does not compare to the quality of the mattress at a Hyatt, Marriott, or Sheraton, but it's a lot better than Motel 6. I did not sleep well on this mattress, and the covers not so comfortable either. The carpet was a bit warn, especially between the beds and was stretched/buckling a little and needed replacement but not urgent. The Free Breakfast (6 to 10 am only) was very good. They had Hard Boiled Eggs!, Oatmeal!. Yogurt!, Raisin Bran!, and Fat Free Milk. For you unhealthy eaters, they had make your own waffles, Biscuits and Gravy, Yellow High Cholesterol Scrambled Eggs, and White Breads. Breakfast wish list: Bananas, Quaker Oats pre-made Oatmeal like Marriott Residence has, and a custom omelet bar like Hyatt House. The front desk clerks were nice. Where the place fell a little short was with Housekeeping: I returned to the room Saturday night after being out all day and the garbage that I put in the plastic bag in the can was sitting in the plastic bag in the middle of the room on the floor in front of the bed. They put a new plastic in the can, but somehow left the room without taking the garbage out and leaving in on the floor. I have never seen this in many many years of hotel travel? There was also a wet wash cloth left next to the pillow on the bed? I told the clerk and showed her the pictures (posted here) and she told me that she would report it. I never heard anything back. The other thing I personally did not care for are soaps and shampoos made in countries other than the USA. This can be gotten cheap in the USA, and I am concerned about safety of the chemicals from certain countries that don't have the same regs we have here in the USA. This hotel is located 10 miles from the Las Vegas strip--approximately a 30 minute drive each way non-rush hour.
