  • Wide selection of good quality fruits & vegetables at a very reasonable price. Meats are also of very good quality at a fair price. Pastry counter has a wide selection of Middle Eastern sweets and offers the best cheesecake in Montreal all made on premise. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is large enough so you find what you need but not so big that you need to walk endlessly. Well maintained indoor/outdoor parking were you can bring your shopping cart to your car to unload your purchases. Plastic bags are still free but their reusable bags are cheap and of excellent size and quality. Staff is friendly & helpful. Wait at the cash is minimal even when the store is very busy. This store can become a real zoo however on Thurs. & Frid. evenenings and at peak hours on weekends. Best to avoid it at that time. My only gripes would be that most of the fruits, vegetable, dates and mushrooms are displayed in a fashion that requires shoppers to manipulate them which is not very hygienic. Also they pack the meat in styrofoam containers instead of butcher paper.
