I've been here once before and the experience was much better. This time, though, it was not fabulous. On one side of the facility each lane has their own table. On the side were were on there are two couches in an L-shape and one oval table for two lanes. It was awkward to share the space because the table was really only made for one couch. And the couch was barely big enough for two adults and a six year old to sit comfortably. There were 4 adults, a 6 year old, and an 11 month old baby. So at all times at least two people had to be standing off to the side. It's hard to interact with people like that!
Not only was the set up awkward, but we kept having problems with the balls returning and the automatic pin counter was completely messed up. I am not a great bowler, and any time I bowled a gutter ball the screen read that I knocked down 3-4 pins. In almost every case it would miscount how many pins were knocked down, and not always in the bowler's favor. So if you want an accurate game you better plan on keeping manual score.
We ordered food. It was just okay bar food, a little expensive for what it was. The flatbread pizza was so small for the price. It was basically child's sized. Alcoholic drinks are also very expensive. My husband was charged $9 for a "double" of well whiskey. At a bowling alley. A run down bowling alley.
