  • This is a much needed Poke place in a stretch of Yonge that is missing some quality fish. I was super excited when I saw what was coming to the neighbourhood and it feels like the wait was soooooooooo long until they finally opened.Honestly, I've been back several times since then. I haven't tried new things (they do have a CHICKEN poke bowl), but the Spicy Salmon bowl that I get, I add avocado too, and it is perfection! The purple rice is warm, the salmon is fresh, there's a good arrangement of the food so it's easy to mix together and it all tastes great together! My partner finds the sauces a bit spicy, even though he likes his spice. I have not had this issue. I don't find the spicy salmon to be at all spicy. And I like that it's not heavy on the sauce/marinade! I'm looking forward to trying more things from there. My only issue is that they apparently planned to have a kimchi bowl but both the kimchi bowl and kimchi as a add-on have been crossed off since they essentially opened. Not sure what happened there. Perhaps they decided kimchi just doesn't go with poke bowls? Who knows, but it does reduce your options on a already select menu.
