  • Recovering from shoulder surgery, I can't drive for 2 weeks. So, I tried Uber for the first time. It is simply outstanding in every way. In each of my 3 trips, the cars arrived in 5 minutes or less. The cars were clean. The drivers were courteous, friendly, and competent. And the technology was flawlessly simple. It made me realize that I might actually be able to live without owning a car. In an Uber vs. cab competition, I'd pick Uber every time.
