  • I really enjoyed my painting session. It was my first time ever to paint something other than in kindergarten. I was very nervous because in my mind it seemed impossible to paint and control a paintbrush. The instructor was patient and gave good tips. She also allowed me to change it up a little, which I didn't know if they would let us do. I went in knowing that I didn't want certain colors in the background. The instructor was perfectly fine with that when she saw what I did. The room was like an art studio. I liked that, and it gave it a true artist type of atmosphere. Everyone that worked there was friendly and accommodating. I look forward to trying it again now that I know I can kind of paint something. I just have to wait for them to have the right picture because I'm really picky about what I'm going to paint.
