Patio season is finally here. Came here on Saturday with a friend close to noon for the first time to experience the nice weather while having brunch on Main Street. We were greeted at the door by the hostess and were given the choice of being seated indoors or outside, so of course we chose to be seated out in the patio. There were some tables with umbrellas and others without. I personally would have preferred to sit closer to the street where I could watch people walk by, but those seats are usually taken because it's the best view in my opinion. The staff were very friendly throughout our dining experience and apparently the restaurant is straw-less, which I am very happy about, especially when I constantly see posts on my newsfeed about plastic oceans. Why drink from a straw when you can drink out of the cup right? It's really unnecessary. Anyways... I ordered The Arms Breakfast, which consisted of three eggs served with my choice of strip bacon, peameal bacon or sausage and baked beans, fries and toast. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day so I couldn't say no to eggs and bacon even though there were a lot of other menu items to choose from. I guess I'll just have to come back another time to try something else. The eggs were cooked perfectly to my liking (sunny side up) and the bacon was nice and crispy and plated neatly. The only thing was that the home fries were slightly overcooked, but nothing major. It's pretty hard to go wrong with breakfast food, so my review and rating is mostly influenced by the weather and patio seating area which is a bonus on such a beautiful day. At least I know they can get their breakfast food right, so I can come back and write another review later on about something else on the menu.
Parking as always is located at the back of the restaurant while the main entrance faces Main Street. The location allows for a perfect walk up and down Main Street and even Two Good Pond if you're up for a little more exercise.
