  • This was just an amazing deal. After a mishap in which a truck had a disagreement with my car, thus totaling the vehicle, I was in need of a replacement. Now I worry about how-profile dealers and whether they might attempt to take advantage of the customer. But I went to San Tan VW because they had the car I wanted in stock; I had actually expected to make this transaction at another dealer, who'd have to locate the vehicle. Since I made my initial contact online, via Cars.com, I was greeted by one of the Internet sales people, Lisa Chabrier, and promptly went for a test drive in the vehicle in which I was interested. After returning, Lisa and the finance person, Michael Yozzo, offered me a price that was less than I expected to pay at the other store. Although I was tempted, I had to keep a business appointment. Besides, I wasn't really in the mood for the usual four-hour sales ordeal in which a dealer wears you out. Lisa said they didn't do that and, in fact, promised to deliver the car to my home after it was detailed, along with the paperwork. A couple of hours later, she showed up with the car. An associate in second car came to drive her back to the showroom. I went over the paperwork carefully and, to my surprise, the monthly payment was actually lower than I expected, because Michael had managed to get a better finance arrangement before preparing the contracts. A couple of days later, as promised, a detail person came to my home to install door edge guards. San Tan Volkswagen provided a level of service totally unexpected in the auto industry. There wasn't a hint of high pressure. It was all low-key from start to finish. Now I had to return to the dealership for a minor fix to the steering wheel, and received exemplary service from the service adviser, Jeff Aguilar. Rather than make excuses and keep me waiting, he had a technician manage the simple repair on the spot. Less than 20 minutes later, I was on my way. This is the sort of service customers deserve, but it so seldom happens. Thank you Lisa, Michael and Jeff for a first-class experience.
