  • In planning a 40 person business meeting with buffet dinner on a 'budget' the Metropolitan is a solid, downtown option. The options for food run the gamut from really flavourful couscous and salmon to pasta in creamy sauces. There are options for everyone. Available from the salad menu are some mediterrean-inspired fish salads and your basic create-your-own ceasar salad. High marks came from the audience for the dessert- dark and white chocolate fondue with fresh fruit. Several different rooms just down the hall from Lai Wah Heen- see my other review for this sit-down restaurant. Certainly nothing wrong with this and close to city hall- if you're tying the knot there, you could do much worse.
