  • We drove here particularly for the poutine, as we had heard it was one of the best in Montreal. The place is small and colorfully decorated, and it feels cozy and warm, situated on a random street corner. The servers are usually kind of hanging out behind the counter, and it's a very casual spot. There's a nice variety of poutines to choose one, and we went with the traditional one. The curds melted nicely, and the gravy was flavorful and beefy, but I wasn't such a fan of the fries. The best part was probably the gravy, as it tasted rich and as if it'd been stewing for hours. They weren't crisp enough to stand up to the sauce, and there wasn't enough cheese, in my opinion. Unfortunately, there should be more to the poutine than just the gravy. The preparation of the fries themselves and the lack of cheese was disappointing.
