| - I had bought a Groupon voucher for a couples massage a couple weeks prior, when I called to book however they had limited space, however I still managed to book an appointment for the day I wanted. On the day of Clinic Ineed actually called me in advance to let me know they were running behind schedule and asked if they could push my appointment back by 15 mins, which was fine by me because we weren't really in rush. The clinic is located in a very nice area, and coincidentally they were hosting Ice Fest, so we got to kill some time by enjoying the festival. When we finally arrived to the spa, we actually had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Personally, it didn't really bother me, but I could understand how this could cause some major problems. They girl at the front kept apologizing and telling us that it wouldn't be much longer. When it was finally our turn, my boyfriend and I were very satisfied with the massage. We each had a 45 min full body massage with paraffin wax which was used to warm up our bodies. The temperature of the wax was perfect, and overall the massage was very good. My masseuse adjusted her pressure to my liking, and was very attentive to my needs and focused on the areas that had the most tension. I have been to massages previously with my RMT, and this was very different. It was much more of a softer massage but just as relaxing. Also, this was my boyfriend's first massage and he was thoroughly pleased with the entire experience as well. I would definitely come back in the future.
My only real complaint would have to be with the payment portion of the experience. Because I had a Groupon voucher I was only required to pay for tax and tip on the spot. However, the debit terminal was down and I had to leave the spa and walk about a block to the nearest convenience store so I could find an ATM. Typically I am completely understand of mechanical/technical issues, because I know what if feels like to be the cashier with the broken terminal. However, before our massage I witnessed the same exact situation occur with the couple before us. So my only real issue was that if the terminal had experiencing issues, why was the call to technically support not already made before.
Other than that, it was an overall pretty great experience and we would definitely do it again.
