| - I was visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend, and my friend who I was staying with really wanted to try this place out. We walked into the small, Belgium-inspired shop and were instantly hit by the aroma of fresh waffles, syrup, and melted chocolate....mmmhmmm. Using the check-in coupon for a free topping, I ordered one of their Liege waffles and added strawberries and swapped nutella for cookie butter (hardest decision of my life lol). They make the waffles right in front of you, so you see the whole seemingly simple, yet delicate process. My waffle had the perfect crisp and perfectly complemented the fresh fruit, but what I bit into was nutella instead of the cookie butter I ordered; no worries, it was still delicious, just not what I had intended on having. My friend really enjoyed his waffle too. It is a pricey place, for the size of the waffle, but I think it makes up for it in the ambiance and quality of ingredients.
