Good food and great atmosphere! A cool place to go to with friends since they have social plates that you can share as well as regular entrees for individual orders. I really liked the seating upstairs since it's brighter and more open than the seating inside.
Crispy chicken skins: 5/5 stars. So simple yet so good! It comes with smoked honey on the side for dipping. I wish my group (5 people) had ordered 2 cuz we devoured the dish super quickly.
Bacon jam: 4/5 stars. I'm usually not a fan of jam so I didn't know what to expect from this dish. But surprisingly, the jam was superr flavorful and tasty. They just need to serve the dish with more cheese on top of the jam as well as bread!
Summer squash: 4/5 stars. I'm glad this dish came out right after the bacon jam because we were able to finish the bacon jam with it. This is a very light flatbread that comes out perfectly toasted for that nice crunch. Nothing too special but good nonetheless.
Cocoa-espresso NY strip: 3/5 stars. Don't think this is worth $19. We ordered this medium rare but it tasted more like medium. It was still good but would definitely have been more popular amongst my group if it had been cooked the way we asked. Sauce was decent but nothing that wow'ed us.
Butter burger: 5/5 stars. A very simple burger but the meat was so tender and that butter...you can taste it sooo well. I enjoyed the spicy tator tots as well. It had some powder on it that wasn't really spicy but added a nice kick of flavor to the tots. This was probably my favorite dish!
Overall, good experience. My only complaint was that we were told our table would be ready in 10 minutes so we waited outside in the patio area. We ended up waiting for around 30 minutes if not more. I understand that this restaurant is very popular so we knew we would have to wait but still...false hope :( at least this gave us time to choose what we wanted and then order as soon as we sat down lol
