  • Trendy, open and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. My husband and I were hungry but no specific craving so we knew to visit BLD. I've been here two other times and always remembered the interesting and appetizing menu. It was a quiet Saturday morning, just after 11a and when we visited this time we walked in and the hostess didn't greet us. We stood at the front for about a minute right in front of her before she said she'd be right with us. We weren't in a rush and that was fine however we asked to sit at the bar instead. The vibe is modern, clean and very welcoming even if the staff was a little less enthused. At the bar I ordered a Bloody Mary and the bartender asked my preference of spice and if I would like some bacon. When I got my drink a new bartender took over and took our orders. We ordered the chicken and brie on sour dough and the bbq brisket special. Although the food was good, the side dishes were wrong and that was the last time we were approached. We had to ask for water, napkins, utensils and the side of bacon that never came. When asked about the bacon the bartender said, "Sorry, do you still want it?" In the end, I'm sad that the food was good but the experience wasn't. We would have stayed longer and ordered more drinks but it didn't seem like we were worth their time. I hope they improve because I think this place is great with a unique menu.
