Absolute dental is the absolute worst! This is the first review that I notice zero stars isn't an option, but that's what they deserve. Here's the run down from my visit. I'll save the best part for last.
Xrays- the room is filthy. Not compared to my house, but definitely filthy in medical standards. Looks like the machines haven't been cleaned in a long time. Dust caked on the fake plants. Then they x-rays Begin. I've been getting my teeth cleaned twice a year for roughly 34 years and never experienced this contraption. The lady kept trying to shove this huge thing that helps them aim the camera in my mouth. No matter how hard you shove and tell me to open, it doesn't fit! Ended up with bloody gums from it. Not nesicary if they know what they are doing.
Paperwork- I've never had to sign so many papers in my entire life as least I'm getting my teeth cleaned. oh you want your front teeth cleaned? your paperwork to sign. oh you want your back teeth cleaned? more paperwork to sign. oh you want water to rinse your mouth out? we're going to need you to sign this. It was ridiculous.
Cleaning- the hygienist was nice but has huge extensions in her hair that kept brushing up against my face every time she leaned in to clean. Gross! she sold me on microbial treatment that I was told was covered under insurance, so I said why not? guess what? It wasn't covered and I got a bill for 600 bucks!
Billing- after receiving the bill for $600 I called their billing department to discuss. they understood that I was told it was covered under insurance and that they would wipe out the balance. I thought I was done with Absolute Dental at the time and didn't think anything of it for a while. 3 months later I received a bill from collections stating I still owed $600. it took me almost 3 more weeks of calling every day and actually showing up in the office demanding a statement showing zero balance.
Definitely stay away from this place!
