  • My husband and I have been using Aliante Cleaners since they opened (8-9 years???). I don't know what has happened to them (new owners???).....but the service isn't up-to-par. My husband has a many Ralph Lauren shirts and has always asked for medium starch......guess what????.....his shirts can stand up without a hanger!!!!!! We've told them....let's try no starch...Same results. The shirts are ruined. I've tried washing them in hot water/letting them soak many times, et al...to no avail. Apparently, the cleaners uses a synthetic starch......which, in fact. adheres to the fibers of clothing.....just like GLUE. No getting it out!!!!!!!!! We will NEVER EVER use Aliante Cleaners again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS....I actually took the shirts back (ironed/non-ironed) and the owner just laughed ad said "We no use starch"....go figure.
