  • Hands down the best cupcakes I have ever had, yes, better than Sprinkles. Each cupcake is subtly flavored, sweet, but not overpowering, and topped with light cream. They also rotate their flavors regularly, and I have never seen the flavors they serve here anywhere else. Decor is chic and modern, a bit dim and the perfect place to hang out and chill with friends. They also serve delicious teas and mixed drinks...seriously, nothing beats sipping on a martini while eating cupcakes with your girlfriends here. Not someplace I'd come study despite their free wifi, but mainly because why would I want to ruin the Cakes on Walnut experience with something as painful as studying?? Definitely one of my favorite places to go when I feel like taking a well-deserved (...or not) break.
