  • My 500th review is dedicated to the fabulous Tonya Russ Price and Poprock Photography. The queen of bubbles, champs, the Peggy pour, and pictures. If you have ever attended any kind of event or soiree in Charlotte, you've seen her. She's the spunky gal armed with a camera (hair usually pink, blue, or purple) who's not only taking pictures, but she's the life of the party. I think Cori B nailed it when she wrote, "Tonya is a real rockstar photographer." All of her photos are absolutely amazing. Hell, she's photographed probably 500 events for myself. She captures the candids and moments of an event like no one else. She's also one of the best food porn photographers. It's no wonder restaurants are always hiring her for website pics and events. She's fun, captivating, and professional. Tonya knows what to tell people when taking pics. How to stand, the best light, do this with your hand, etc. If you ever look at profile pics on Facebook, you'll see dozens that were all taken by her. True story: I met Ronnie P more than three years ago. He gets to come to a lot of Yelp events as a plus one because of his fiancee/now wife. He just wrote his first Yelp review and guess what it was? A five star glowing love letter to Poprock Photography for the work she did at his wedding. To quote him, "I've been hesitant to write my first review, waiting for something to blow me away. Lo and behold, I entered a hurricane with Poprock!" Hurricane Tonya, thanks for all you do in our community!
