Beware! If you want to actually sleep at some point during your trip, this may not be the hotel for you. We got a "Strip view" room. The view of the strip from the 8th floor was a small sliver of the Mirage and a bit of Caesar's Palace across the street. Most of the view is obscured by the giant modern facade built when they revamped the old Imperial Palace. The worst part, though? The dance party going on at street level (this was on a Monday night). It was so loud, I feel like I was actually there. When we called down to inquire when it typically ends, we were told "3 or 4 AM." That was it. No offer to relocate to a quieter room. We were offered earplugs, if we wanted to walk down in our PJ's and get them. We suffered through the night and then moved over to the Mirage the following night. Lastly, the pool is kind of sad. It's tiny, the water is hot and there's not much ambiance. Unless you plan to avoid sleep your entire trip, I'd recommend lodging elsewhere.
