So we start with 3 stars...
Good: Still has free wireless, very good grilled sandwiches, homey atmosphere, and decent coffee (but I gotta ask, why no fair trade option?). Baristas are nice, too. Plus 1.5 stars.
Bad: I don't go here much, though, because the paninis and all manner of greasy goodness get grilled up right there in the same room where customers sit, and without a decent cooking industrial fan that grease permeates the air, my clothes and skin. After a couple hours I usually go straight home into the shower. Minus 1.5 stars.
I have friends who think I'm crazy for this aversion, but the smell is real: I can immediately tell when I'm standing within five feet of someone who's recently been at Phoenix.
Final score: 3 stars.
