This airport is undergoing construction and it can really impact travel. When at all possible I try to take a cab from my home to this airport. I find the shuttles with bags in tow is a bit much. I also tend to do valet parking when possible too. I just don't want to be in their parking lots trying to find my car if coming in late. The shop/restaurants are pretty good. The worse thing about this airport is the check in process. They leave the "B" terminal access specifically for TSA pre-check and priority customers. This is fine except when long lines are winding their way through the other check points. Although my flights are domestic, I give myself 2 hrs check in time.
Baggage claim-there are seats for a reason. Best to take one and wait.
Taxi service:
Pro: right outside the baggage claim area.
Con: they make it hard for other taxis except Crown Cab to pick up customers. Crown cab cost me $61 to get home but other cabs taking me to the airport can be in $40s to $50 the most.
I travel quite a bit and know that this airport has the worst check in I've experienced and unfortunately since this is my home base, I just have to accept it. Navigating to gates is pretty simple. The moving sidewalks help.
