| - This Craig Gilliam, President of 5 Star Movers, is one-big strange dude. I posted a negative review of his company on YELP on 5/7/18 and he's been constantly harassing me ever since. First, he posts a review back to me on 5/8/18 (after he called me on the phone and yelled and screamed at me for posting, what I felt, was a fair and accurate review: I hung up on him). In his review of me, he calls me a liar and that I falsified my review information. He accuses me of slander. None of which he can prove. In fact, I saved all his e-mails and can prove all of my statements were accurate and correct.
I refused to hire him on 5/4/18. On 5/21/18, after we went all through this and these negative posting on YELP, his son calls me up and tells me that they will be up to my house (house where I was supposed to move from) to move me the next morning on 5/22/18 (the day he was originally supposed to move me; I had already hired another moving company and moved on 5/18/18)). This is why this company is so inefficient. UMBELIEVABLE!!!! Obviously, a clerical error, in that, they have no idea what they are doing. After I tell him, in no uncertain terms, I want nothing to do with him, they call me 17 days later to tell me they are already to move me the next day.
Then, he e-mails me some more, complaining again. He tells me that he doesn't appreciate my negative comments about his son. What negative comments???!!! His son was just following orders and calling people on the schedule for follow-up delivery the next day. I never said a negative thing about his son; it's his inefficient company that I have my problems with.
Then, he says his employees all screw this up and they have been counseled to do better in the future. Then, he begs me to take down my review and plays the sympathy card by saying because he is a CHRISTIAN MAN WITH 6 CHILDREN. This man has no shame!!! What has God, or the number of children you have sired have anything to do with running an inefficient company???
Then, he says he never accused me of falsifying my review, nor slander and that a female, working from another company, that he is associated with, and does business in conjunction with, actually wrote that entire review for him. It's everyone else's fault but his. Has the man no shame?!
I mean it's been telephone calls and e-mails from this guy. Finally, I told him to "put on his big boy pants" & man-up and stop being such a cry baby; not everyone is gonna like him. I just found his company terrible, is all. The guy just keeps digging a bigger, & bigger hole for himself with his big, uncontrollable mouth!
Now, I see this bizarre duck is back at it again. He posted yet another review to me on 5/23/18 (since he can't talk to me or e-mail me, as I had to eventually blocked him and threatened to get a restraining order on him from the police for harassment if he ever contacted me again) but, this time he'd trying the good guy/bad guy routine with him as the good guy and me as the bad guy.
He's again playing for sympathy and trying to make me out a constant complainer so no one will pay attention to my review. He does this by first, apologizing to me (yeah, like after all we've been through, he means it & is sincere). He says he tried to look me up in his system but, couldn't find a job number to help me out. Of course not!!! I never hired him; why would he have a job number (more inefficiency) but, HE KNOWS THAT; he's going for the sympathy angle again here. He asks me if I have the job number so, he can HELP ME. Yeah, right! Like why would I have his job number, if he doesn't have it and I never hired him? The guy is a con man!!!! Then, lastly he says he sees that I posted a bad review on another moving company during this incident. And, boy I must be having some bad luck (being sarcastic there but, trying to emphasize to reviewers that it's me, the complainer, that is the problem here and not this poor, little old, Christian man with 6 kids named Craig Gilliam, President of 5 Star Movers ). That's right, I did. He fails to tell u that it was on a company that came to my house and told me that they would e-mail me my quote that night and 5 days later (after numerous calls and e-mail they never re-contacted me).
Now, I am more determined than ever to let people know just what kind of a strange fellow they are dealing with if they hire him, as I am going to Facebook and several other social websites and post these review on him & spread the word. God forbid if you ever hire him and don't like his service, this man will hound you into the ground, if you ever dare to write a negative review of him. Personally, I think there is something wrong with the guy.
Caveat emptor is a Latin term that means "let the buyer beware."
