| - Dining at Le Cirque was a memorable and decadent dining experience.
This is certainly an elegant place and everything from the decoration, to the service and the French servers, oh and the prices and meals are evidence to it.
Me and the missus aren't exactly fancy folk, so we felt a bit out of place once we were seated and were trying to figure out how the menu worked. But we asked Maurice and it was smooth sailing from there on out. I can see how some people that aren't used to this type of venue, much like myself, can be intimidated by it. Just ask, you won't be the first or the last. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Much to my surprise it was all pre-fix, so there was no way of leaving this place without spending at least$105 per person. Granted, this includes appetizer, entree and dessert, and the quality of the food and service is phenomenal.Once we got over the initial sticker shock (we should've done or homework) we had a great time. Each dish was better than the one before. Between the two of us we had the foie gras, risotto, rabbit, lamb, chocolate souffle, and chocolate ball. And everything was remarkable.
