  • If I could give zero stars I would. This surgeon was recommended to me by my endocrinologist. I needed my thyroid removed because it had a tumor. Wow, what a huge mistake that was. He has a terrible bedside manner and is very rude and arrogant to patients. I was told my cancer was "not a big deal" and they rescheduled my date twice. For someone who has malignant cancer it was horrifying. He gave me no pre-surgery guidelines and when I asked what I should or shouldn't do before surgery he said it didn't matter. The day of while I was waiting, already having some anesthesia, he told me that he may have to cancel again; "because he saves lives" and someone else was more important. The kicker was at my post-op.. I needed an FMLA form filled out for work. The nurse told him "Carmen needs this form for work." He replied "who's Carmen?" While I was sitting right there AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
