| - Salon Moda Fina. It's hard to begin when a business has endless good things to mention!
The overall ambiance is sure to amaze! The modern designs with hints of Italian accents throughout almost look too stunning to touch! This upscale, trendy, and immaculate salon fits right in with LA and NYC, which also seems fitting for its Old Town Scottsdale location. The owners, husband and wife, Nick and Kristi, truly care about their customers and will never disappoint!
I love how you're always greeted with a friendly face and relaxing environment. There are two levels; the second level is where Nick (thee amazingly talented hair designer) works, alongside other hairdressers. They have these glass walls that surround the second level, which looks super cool! On the lower level you'll find an area of more experienced and friendly hair stylists. Continuing on, you'll be introduced to the nail tech area.
I've been getting my nails done here on and off for years! The only reason the "off" part is there is because I moved. I was dejected, to say the least, to have lost Kristi! There's just something about getting your nails done that perks up your mood and makes you feel more confident! And not just any nail tech can make you feel that way.
After I moved, I went to a few other technicians only to find everything you DON'T want for your nail care experience: uneven filing, uncomfortable methods, messy paint jobs, poor quality products, lack of options and creativity ... The list goes on.
Nevertheless, I'm back in Scottsdale, which means my nails are officially back "on point." Kristi and Cheryl (the two most awesome nail experts) can do anything you can think of, offering regular and gel polish and acrylics! Whether you prefer a classic look, something totally one-of-a-kind and flamboyant, or somewhere in between, Kristi and Cheryl got your back! They're both super easy-going, yet fun at the same time. It's very apparent how passionate they are about their work.
They have various color options, glitter galore, 3D artwork, foils, matte effects, unique designs, and other fun stuff. Their techniques are so up-to-date, constantly staying trendy and offering new options whenever available. Not only do they offer all these choices, but also they'll make your experience relaxing and enjoyable. There's no stabbing cuticles, lopsided filing jobs, or messy paint jobs goin' on here.
I know it might sound stressful, but you're just going to have to sit back, relish in the ambient music, gentle approaches, and delightful personalities and watch your nails become a statement!
I posted some collages of my previous nails, done by Kristi, from over the years and some more recent ones as well. I originally got acrylics, but changed to gel polish later on, which I LOVE! They stay looking amazing for 2 1/2 - 3 weeks! I always get compliments on my nails! Kristi is my nail savior and I'll never look elsewhere!
